The register of recipients / NSfK Newsletter
Purpose of the register
Purpose of the NSfK newsletter (which the register is being collected for) is to inform the recipients about the latest news in the field of Nordic criminology.
Contents of the register
The register contains the e-mail address of the newsletter recipients. No other information is being collected regarding the recipients.
How do we get the information over recipients?
The persons seeking to join the newsletter have to fill in their e-mail address to a form on the NSfK webpage (www.nsfk.org). This is the only way to subscribe to the newsletter. NSfK does not add new subscribers to the list by itself, without a specific request from the person in question.
Provision of information to third parties
NSfK does not provide personal information, such as the e-mail addresses in the register in question, to a third party.
The protection of register information
The register information is kept electronically safe in the MailChimp e-mail service. It is protected with an admin username and a password, only known and accessible by the NSfK Secretariat.
The right to check the personal information collected
Every recipient of the newsletter has the right to check which personal information has been collected of him/her. The request can be made by letter or in person. The letter has to be signed by the person in question. The request should be directed to the contact person in register related matters (= leader of NSfK Secretariat). The request can be made max. once a year without an extra fee.
Removal of information from the register
If you want to unsubscribe from the newsletter list, you can either do it by clicking the link at the bottom of every newsletter, or on the NSfK webpage by clicking the “unsubscribe” button (www.nsfk.org). You can also send an e-mail to the NSfK Secretariat Leader and ask for the removal from the recipient list.
