Conference: The Third Year within the EU

are organising an international conference
„The Third Year within the European Union: Topical Problems in Management of Economics and Law”
April 27 – 28, 2007, Riga

We invite to participate: economists and lawyers, university lecturers, theoreticians and practitioners

Conditions for participation: a paper of 10 pages (20 000 characters) should be prepared for publication and submitted to the organising committee by 6.00 according to the Central European Time on March 5, 2007.

Requirements for the publishing of the papers: it is advisable to divide the papers into chapters, with the conclusions and suggestions stated at the end. List of literature used is not going to be published but the authors should definitely give references (with the uniform numbering for the whole paper) at the bottom of each page. Summary of about 1 page can be given in any foreign language except English. The papers should be written in English. The papers that do not correspond to these and other generally established requirements for scientific articles are not going to be published. The papers will be reviewed before the publication.

Dates of publication: conference proceedings will be presented during the conference, and each author is entitled to receive 3 copies of conference proceedings free of charge

Conference expenses: there is no participation fee; publishing expenses will be covered by the Latvian Academy of Sciences and College of Law (Riga). Participants to the conference themselves have to cover travel expenses and the accommodation (information about hotels and their prices will be sent to the participants).

Organisation of the conference work: the work at the conference will be organised at plenary sessions and thematic sections
