International Conference on “Prison and Society”

The Tripartite Organizing Committee of China Prison Society, The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong, and Shandong Prison Bureau is pleased to announce that the captioned conference will be held in the city of Qingdao, Shandong Province of China between 19th and 22nd April, 2005.
The theme of the Conference is ‘Prison and Society’ which comprises three sub-themes: prison management; community corrections and rehabilitation of offenders; and relations between crime and society.
The Tripartite Organizing Committee cordially invites all academics, practitioners, and professionals of correctional and related organizations to take part in this worldly event in the city of Qingdao to discuss and exchange experiences and to look for further improvement of the corrections and rehabilitation services.
Apart from welcoming you to participate in the Conference, I also hope you will make the Conference message widely known among prominent potential interested parties.
