TRANSLATION: English-Spanish/ Catalan/Spanish-English Final Conference of the MIP Project “Women, Integration and Prison;
an analysis of the processes of the sociolabour Integration of women prisoners in Europe” financed by the European Commission
under the V framework Programme.
The aim of the Conference: This conference will disseminate the final results of the project and will provide a space for
reflection on the women incarcerated situation, the current penal, penitentiary and social policies directed to these group,
and the new perspectives and proposals at national and European level. The conference will bring together officials working
in the EU and other European Organisations, experts on the topic and on gender analysis form the European countries, officials
from the National Justice Systems, people involve in the daily work with women prisoners, students, women ex-prisoners, and
anyone interested in the issue to be discussed. The assistance to the conference is free but will be needed a registration.
