The Scandinavian Research Council for Criminology (SRCfC/NSfK) can provide financial support for research projects, working group meetings, travels, study trips, translations, etc. Priority is given to applications for research projects relating to the themes decided upon by the Council. The current themes are:
The Council normally reviews applications for financial support once a year at its annual meeting, which usually takes place at the end of March. Travel grants, however, will normally be reviewed by the chairperson of the Council on an ongoing basis. Please use the forms below. Research Grants for 2009 will be announced October 2008 at the latest. Research grants for 2008 - announcement Provided that government grants are approved by the membership countries, the Scandinavian Research Council for Criminology (NSfK) would like to announce the following research grants for the year 2008: Two Nordic projects, each to receive 50 000 EUR, for studies of restorative justice and/or other topics and questions of Nordic relevance. The projects should include at least three of the Nordic countries, with participants from at least two of these countries. Submission deadline was December 15th 2007.
