Introducing the Nordic Criminology Blog
“Do you have a blog?”
By Editor of NJC, Anita Heber, Associate Professor at Department of Criminology, Stockholm University
About one year ago, Dr Kjersti Lohne at Oslo University asked us this question. At that time, we were busy editing the Nordic Journal of Criminology (NJC), and heading the Nordic Research Council for Criminology (NSfK), but we did not forget her question.
It became more and more appealing to establish an easily accessible platform for engaging with Nordic criminology. Here, we want to encourage discussions on contemporary, criminological topics with a Nordic perspective.
Nordic Criminology has long carved its own space in the criminological field – after all, it is almost 60 years since NSfK was established, and today NJC publishes relevant and interesting research undertaken in the Nordic countries. To further develop Nordic criminology, we are happy to announce the new Nordic Criminology Blog – and invite you to participate.
Join the conversation about Nordic Criminology!
The Nordic Criminology Blog is a joint initiative of the Nordic Journal of Criminology (NJC) and the Nordic Research Council for Criminology (NSfK).
The editorial team of the blog consists of the editor and editorial assistant of NJC, the Chair of the NSfK Council, and the NSfK Leader of the Secretariat.
