Introducing the Nordic Criminology Blog

“Do you have a blog?”

About one year ago, Dr Kjersti Lohne at Oslo University asked us this question. At that time, we were busy editing the Nordic Journal of Criminology (NJC), and heading the Nordic Research Council for Criminology (NSfK), but we did not forget her question.

It became more and more appealing to establish an easily accessible platform for engaging with Nordic criminology. Here, we want to encourage discussions on contemporary, criminological topics with a Nordic perspective.

Nordic Criminology has long carved its own space in the criminological field – after all, it is almost 60 years since NSfK was established, and today NJC publishes relevant and interesting research undertaken in the Nordic countries. To further develop Nordic criminology, we are happy to announce the new Nordic Criminology Blog – and invite you to participate.
